In an intelligence-driven operation, the Amritsar Rural Police have busted a cross-border arms supply module and arrested its key operative, who was allegedly involved in circulating illegal weapons across the region.

The accused, Akashdeep Singh, was apprehended following swift police action. Officers recovered a significant cache of foreign-made firearms, live ammunition and a mobile phone suspected to have been used to communicate with handlers across the border.

The seized weapons include a Star-marked pistol (.30 bore), another .30-bore pistol, a PX5 pistol (.30 bore), a Glock Gen-19 (9mm) and six live .30-bore rounds.
