LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Kentucky man was arrested after police say he fired a stolen gun twice toward the ground and five times into the air near a woman’s head.

Jonathan Tolliver, 18, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 9, after Lexington police responded to the situation on East High Street.

His arrest citation said a woman was picking up Tolliver from a party.

When the woman stopped, officers say Tolliver got out, shot two shots into the ground and five rounds near the woman’s head. The woman was not hurt.

Tolliver later admitted to officers that he had been drinking.

His citation says the gun he used had been reported stolen.

Tolliver was charged with wanton endangerment, discharging a firearm in city limits, public alcohol intoxication, carrying a concealed weapon and receiving stolen
