NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY - SUNDAY INTO MONDAY MORNING
A major shot of arctic air will move into Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky for the second half of the weekend making it dangerous to be outdoors for extended periods of time.
Temperatures will start in the 20s and teens on Sunday morning and temperatures are going to struggle to get out of the 20s for most of the day. Winds will be gusty throughout the day on Sunday with gusts between 20-30 mph. With the wind factored in, it will feel like we’re in the teens and even the single digits Sunday afternoon.
Overnight lows Sunday into Monday morning will drop well into the teens and some higher elevations could even drop into the single digits.
