POUGHKEEPSIE – Longtime public servant and current Assistant County Executive, Gregg Pulver, was unanimously confirmed as County Executive Sue Serino’s choice to serve as the new Deputy County Executive.

Minority Leader Yvette Valdés Smith was one of the first lawmakers to offer a standing ovation for Pulver at Monday night’s meeting. Pulver has been serving as Assistant County Executive under Serino for the past year. The change in titles comes as Serino made minor changes to her administration in the past month.
