New Delhi: Aster DM Healthcare has announced an investment of ₹120 crore to establish five advanced Oncology Radiation LINAC Centres across India, aimed at supporting economically disadvantaged cancer patients through its CSR initiative.

The initiative seeks to provide high-quality radiation therapy free of cost or at highly subsidised rates for patients from low-income backgrounds who cannot afford or continue life-saving treatment.

The first centre is set to open in Kerala’s Wayanad, serving the broader Malabar region, including surrounding areas such as Gudalore and Gudalpet. The remaining four centres will be strategically developed in locations including Bengaluru and other key cities over the next three years, based on clinical feasibility and community requirements.
