WASHINGTON COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A Corolla woman was killed in a crash in Washington County yesterday.

Troopers say the crash happened around 3:30 p.m. at U.S. 64 and Wilson Street Extension, right outside Plymouth city limits.

74-year-old Elaine Bradley was heading westbound in a 2016 Nissan passenger vehicle when she crossed the center line and collided head-on with a dump truck loaded with asphalt, according to troopers.

Bradley was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the dump truck had serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.
