BURKE, Va. — A Virginia man faces up to six years in prison for a devastating 2023 crash that left a teenage girl dead and three others hurt. Jose Angel Zelaya pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter on Wednesday, the Fairfax County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office said.

Police say Zelaya was traveling at more than double the 40 mph speed limit on Burke Centre Parkway when his Cadillac slammed into a Kia driven by 17-year-old Rebekah Zarco, with three other teens inside.

"She was the most sweetest girl you will ever meet," said Israel Serrano back in 2023. He told WUSA9 he's a close family friend of the teen who died.
