A Strictly Come Dancing star has revealed their backstage "breakdown" as Tess Daly rushed to support them. ‌

The 56-year-old has been at the helm of the BBC show since 2004, initially presenting alongside Sir Bruce Forsyth. Since 2014, she's shared hosting duties with Claudia Winkleman. ‌

Fans were left stunned in October when Tess and Claudia revealed they would be departing the programme following the conclusion of the current series. ‌

Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, who became the sixth celebrity eliminated from this year's Strictly, appeared on BBC Breakfast on Thursday (December 11). Speaking with presenters Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt, he discussed the lasting impact of Tess and Claudia, reports Wales Online .
