A Decepticon's defection to the Autobot cause has given the Transformers franchise an opportunity to consider the biggest difference between the two Cybertronian camps: their feelings about violence, especially when it concerns the biological inhabitants of their new battleground, Earth. In Transformers' latest issue, new Autobot Thundercracker and Optimus Prime have a spark-to-spark dialogue that sheds light on their positions.

Transformers #27 is written by Robert Kirkman, with art by Dan Mora. As the franchise's Kirkman era continues to heat up, the Decepticon-turned-Autobot Thundercracker has taken center stage.

This issue seems to confirm that his addition to the Autobots is genuine, alleviating fans' skepticism that Optimus Prime might be falling into a trap.
