Former Liverpool star Paul Ince has urged his old club to sign ‘unbelievable’ Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano in January.
Upamecano’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season – and while talks are ongoing over an extension – no agreement has yet been reached.
The 27-year-old France international centre-back is a key player for Bayern and has helped the German side clinch three Bundesliga titles to date.
Upamecano, named in the Bundesliga Team of the Season last term, has played 176 games for Bayern since joining them from RB Leipzig in 2021.
But with speculation over Upamecano’s future, Ince wants to see Liverpool take advantage of the situation and bring the Bayern star to Anfield.
