Agartala, 11 th December 2025: The Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) has taken a significant step toward improving urban cleanliness through a new waste management initiative.

Today Mayor Dipak Majumder inaugurated seven three-wheeler auto hoppers and three sets of mini super suckers at a brief ceremony attended by several corporators.

According to the Mayor, AMC has been working to keep the city cleaner and healthier under the “Swachh Agartala, Sushtha Agartala” campaign since 2022.

As part of the project, and with support from the state government, new mechanised cleaning equipment has been procured to enhance the quality of services for city residents.
