A driver was hospitalized after colliding with a concrete barrier in a hit and run crash on Route 280 in Hudson County Thursday, Dec. 11, authorities said.

At 5:43 a.m., an unknown vehicle collided with a Honda on Route 280 eastbound in Harrison, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.

The crash caused the Honda to spin and strike the right concrete barrier, Postorino said.

The unknown vehicle fled the scene, Postorino said.

The driver of the Honda suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Postorino said.

The crash remains under investigation, Postorino said.
