A person fell through the ice at a park in Lynn, Massachusetts, on Wednesday morning and had to be rescued by first responders.
Lynn police said officers were called to Flax Pond at Fecteau Park around 7:30 a.m. The victim was pulled from the water and taken to the hospital in stable condition.

A similar rescue unfolded in Malden, where a young girl fell through the ice at Fellsmere Pond .
Fire officials warned the public to stay off of the ice unless absolutely certain it is thick enough to support the weight.
