HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - Harrison County deputies found 123 pounds of methamphetamine during a traffic stop on I-10.

Officials with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department said deputies conducted a traffic stop on a car hauler on Wednesday near mile marker 24 in Pass Christian.

Deputies searched a Honda Odyssey on the car hauler and found the meth hidden inside, according to authorities.

Officials believe the drugs were destined for Gulfport.

Harrison County Narcotics Investigators said the driver is not a person of interest and was released. The investigation is ongoing.
