Theft: Market Place Drive

Walmart employees saw a woman at the self-checkout register with multiple items in her hand. She only scanned one item before putting them all into a bag at 11:45 a.m. Nov. 25.

An employee confronted the 32-year-old Woodmere woman, but after the warning, the woman continued to under-ring other items.

An officer arrived and spoke to her. She admitted to not scanning the items, which were valued at $242.60.

Police charged her with theft.

Someone reported a suspicious man vomiting at 1:11 p.m. Nov. 25 in the parking lot of Starbucks.

The man was driving out as police arrived. When questioned, he said he had been drinking alcohol the previous night.
