A Fall River woman who sold victims to sex buyers and joked it was like “playing a game of Tetris” has been sentenced to prison.
Cory Primo, 43, was sentenced in Boston federal court on Wednesday to 70 months in prison and five years of supervised release, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. She was also ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution to the three victims in the incident.
Primo conspired with others to traffic an adult woman from Massachusetts and two children from April 2023 until August that year, the office said. She had started helping a co-defendant sell the people because she was “broke.”
