This is terrifying moment a knife-wielding attacker takes on a lone woman whilst another tourist is seen fleeing behind a wall. The woman bravely is able to fight off the attack, all while the man is seen cowering in shame.

Dramatic CCTV footage of the event went viral after the woman was able to fend off the crazed man, as he lunged at her with a knife . Meanwhile her male companion did little to help her, choosing instead to flee.

Since then, the woman has been praised for her bravery in standing up to the knif
