With the end-of-year holidays quickly approaching, the United States Postal Service is bracing for the busiest delivery week of the year.

The USPS says customer traffic has been steadily increasing since the start of December. The week of Dec. 15 will be the busiest of 2025.

The world's largest postal service is prepared to process as many as 88 million packages a day. In Cincinnati, the postal service is moving 50,000 packages and 600,000 letters a day amid the holiday shipping rush, according to Cincinnati Postmaster Paige Zimmerman.

While the Postal Service is working around the clock to deliver those holiday packages, letters and seasons greetings, there are key dates quickly approaching that will help get your item to loved ones on time for Christmas.
