WASHINGTON — Tomato soup that was sold in retail stores across 14 states has been recalled because of an undeclared ingredient.
Ohio-based wholesaler Lil' Turtles voluntarily recalled all lots of its Grandma Belle’s Tomato Basil Soup for misbranding due to the milk allergen not being declared on the label, according to the announcement on the FDA website .
The recalled soup was sold in 17 oz. glass jars and was available from Sept. 2022 through Dec. 3, 2025.
According to the recall, it was not sold at any major grocery store chains and was instead available for purchase at local markets and retail stores in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Utah and Wisconsin.
