BEREA ‒ Ohio Turnpike tolls are going up by 2.7% starting Jan. 1.
The Turnpike Commission issued a news release Dec. 11, reminding motorists of the increase, which was approved in April 2023.
It said passenger vehicles using cash and credit cards will see a 10.6-cent per mile charge, up from 10.4 cents per mile this year. E-ZPass customers will pay 7.3 cents a mile, up from 7.1 cents.
Meanwhile, the rate for commercial vehicles using cash or credit card will increase to 28.4 cents per mile, up from 27.6 cents. E-ZPass customers with commercial vehicles will pay 22.6 cents per mile, up from 22 cents.
