Lewis Miley has vowed to keep scoring goals after making history in Newcastle United's Champions League tie against Bayer Leverkusen.

The 19-year-old midfielder became the club’s youngest goalscorer in Europe’s most prestigious club competition on Wednesday evening when he headed the Magpies in front in the BayArena as they came from behind to lead 2-1.

They ultimately had to make do with a point after Alejandro Grimaldo levelled for the hosts with two minutes remaining, but Miley was thrilled after being made aware of his feat.
