Sunderland have exceeded expectations in the Premier League this season and Newcastle United have a 'real game on their hands' when they make the trip to the Stadium of Light on Sunday.

That is the verdict of former Crystal Palace owner and talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan who believes the whole country will be 'hugely engaged' in the fixture because of Sunderland punching above their weight in the early stages of the season.

Newcastle will make the short trip down the road for a Premier League fixture for the first time since October 2015, while the last time the two sides met in the Premier League was in March 2016.
