Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle Outside Denville Hospital: Prosecutor

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Denville on Wednesday, Dec. 10, authorities said.

At 5:55 p.m., the pedestrian, who has not been identified, was struck on Pocono Road outside St. Claire's Denville Hospital, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.

The pedestrian was transported to the nearby hospital with serious injuries, and later pronounced deceased, authorities said.

The driver remained on scene and the incident remains under investigation.
