A 58-year-old woman was seriously injured this morning when a vehicle struck her in Mililani.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said the collision occurred about 6:45 a.m. near the intersection of Meheula Parkway and Makaikai Street, where EMS crews co-responded and found the woman with multiple injuries.

Paramedics treated her at the scene and transported her to an emergency room in serious condition.

Further details on the driver and the circumstances of the crash were not immediately released. The investigation is ongoing.
