A CCTV image has been issued by police after a victim was robbed outside a restaurant along the Curry Mile in Rusholme . An investigation has now been launched.

Greater Manchester Police said the incident was reported outside the Mughli Charcoal Pit restaurant on Wilmslow Road at around 5.25am on October 10 this year. The victim had their mobile phone stolen.

The suspect is described as mixed-race male, in his late 20s of lean build and 5ft 10in. He was also wearing glasses, a grey tracksuit jacket and joggers and black and white shoes.

CCTV images of a man police want to speak to has now been issued by the force. It is believed he could assist with ongoing enquiries.
