CADILLAC, MI – A Michigan man was recently extradited from Kansas to face charges of child sexual abuse and showing the victim pornography, officials announced.
Michael Joseph Caillouet, 47, of Cadillac, was arraigned on Tuesday by Judge Corey Wiggins in the 84th District Court in Cadillac for allegedly sexually abusing a minor child from 2016 to 2019, announced Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. He is also accused of showing the victim pornography.
Caillouet is charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of misdemeanor exhibiting sexually explicit material to a minor.
The alleged crimes were reported in March to the Michigan State Police. The Wexford County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges in September. Caillouet was recently extradited
