VANCOUVER - Canadian freestyle skier Noah Bowman is retiring after an 18-year career that included 13 World Cup medals.
Freestyle Canada announced Bowman's retirement in a release Thursday.
Bowman's best World Cup season came in 2020, when he won four medals (one gold, two silver, one bronze) and finished second in the men's halfpipe skiing overall standings.
He also won bronze in halfpipe at the 2019 world freestyle championships.
The 33-year-old from Calgary also appeared in three Olympic Games.
He was fifth in Sochi, Russia in 2014 and in Pyeongchang, South Korea in 2018, and was just off the podium in fourth at the 2022 Beijing Games.
