Two men were shot and killed and two others wounded Wednesday night at a music recording studio in Newark, authorities said.
Police were called about 8 p.m. to Platinum Sound on Clinton Avenue, where they found four males with gunshot wounds, according to Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II.
Two 20-year-olds were pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as Namir Bynum and Osayuwamen Uyamu, both of Newark.
Two other victims were taken to University Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
One was treated and released, Stephens said.
Stephens said the shooting remains under investigation and that no other information was available.
