DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — A large distribution company in Danville will be leaving Illinois next year.
According to the city of Danville, the Hyster-Yale Group will be relocating operations to Indiana by the end of 2026.
Hyster-Yale is a global manufacturer of material handling equipment like forklifts. The supplier's Danville location is located on the east side of Danville on East Fairchild Street.
The city of Danville said they have worked extensively with Hyster-Yale over the last two years to try and keep the company in Vermilion County.
According to the city, the final incentive package provided by Danville included a sanitary sewer extension valued at upwards of $1 million, an enterprise zone expansion, rezoning of the selected parcel, and a $1.5 million cash incentive for the Hys
