An Algoma man pleaded no contest Dec. 10 to a reduced charge for shooting an Oconto man on Sept. 3, 2021.

Cody Krueger, 28, pleaded no contest to aggravated battery-intending great bodily harm with the use of a dangerous weapon, a felony. The charge was reduced from attempted first-degree intentional homicide, and charges of armed robbery and first-degree recklessly endangering safety were dismissed through a plea agreement.
