Craig Carton has broken his silence about his latest WFAN return .

The longtime New York radio star sounded off on his latest big career move, which will bring him back to station in January for a third time to take over the afternoon drive-time slot.

“Yes, what you’ve read is true. I am coming back — one more time — to WFAN,” Carton said in an appearance on his self-titled podcast on Thursday .

Having first joined WFAN in 2007, Carton left the station 10 years later when he was arrested on fraud charges related to a ticket resale scam that he used to try to pay off his gambling debts.
