Prosecutors rested their case Wednesday in the murder trial of Brian Walshe , the Cohasset man accused of killing and dismembering his wife in January 2023.
In the morning, a family friend who spent New Year’s Eve with the Walshes, Gem Mutlu, testified. His testimony was not heard by the jury initially, but later was.
Later in the afternoon, Walshe’s probation officer, a regional loss prevention manager for the Home Depot chain, the manager of a Brockton apartment complex where Walshe was seen on surveillance footage dumping trash, and a loss prevention manager for the TJ Maxx chain testified, before another friend of the couple took the stand.
Here’s how Wednesday unfolded.
