Cillian Murphy just revealed whether he'll be reviving the role of Tommy Shelby after starring in Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man . The original series aired for six seasons from 2013 to 2022 and won numerous awards. Creator Steven Knight wasn't done with the Shelby family just yet, though, as he quickly announced a film that would wrap up the story.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will be released on Netflix on March 20, 2026.

In an interview with Empire , Murphy admitted that The Immortal Man will be his final time playing Tommy and explained that he doesn't think he'll be able to process the fact that this journey is coming to an end until the movie is released because, according to the actor, " A film isn't finished until people look at it ."
