EASTLAKE, Ohio (WOIO) - Church and law enforcement leaders received security training materials Thursday as attacks on places of worship continue to rise across the country.
The House of Worship and Security Training took place at St. Justin Martyr Church in Eastlake, where Pastor Joshua Corchrac opened the session with a prayer asking for knowledge to prevent acts of violence.
“One of the most important things that we can do is make people know they are safe at church,” Corchrac said.
