Four people have been arrested in connection with last month’s Newark shooting that killed three people and wounded two others, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office announced Thursday.
Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II said that the suspects face a range of charges.
Almuta Thomas, 31; Quayon Williams-King, 26; Furquan Boykin Jr., 19; and a 16-year-old are each charged with three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree aggravated assault, and one count of second-degree conspiracy to commit murder.
Thomas and Williams-King also face charges of aggravated arson and motor vehicle theft.
The victims, 10-year-old Jordan Garcia , 21-year-old Kiyah Mae Scott and 19-year-old Masi Rogers , died as a result of the shooting. Two others, 11-year-old Jayceon Garcia and a 60-
