(WVVA) - The holidays are a time for joy and togetherness, but they can also bring stress and anxiety. Travel delays, last-minute gift runs and the pressure to make time for loved ones leave many feeling overwhelmed.
To help lift spirits, Make-A-Wish is bringing back its Holiday Wish Line as part of the Wishful Giving campaign. The line started on Monday and runs through December 31st and offers hope, humor and heartfelt wisdom straight from wish kids themselves.
Why wishes matter
Wishes can improve emotional and physical well-being and help children build the resilience they need to face critical illness. Most wish kids survive their illness and many credit their wish experience with renewed confidence and strength.
