TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Mountain View High School lifted a "Hold" action after a report of a student possibly in possession of a gun was determined to be false. According to Mountain View High School Administration , the incident was quickly resolved with no harm.
Around 12:15 p.m. on Dec. 11, the school initiated a "Hold" action after a student reported to administration that they overheard a peer discussing another student may be in possession of a weapon.
Law enforcement arrived and conducted an investigation, determining that the statement was a joke and not credible. The "Hold" was lifted by 1:05 p.m., and classes resumed to the usual schedule.
