MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Mt. Juliet Animal Care and Control has received “the sweetest gift we could ask for” — a home for every single dog.

The MJ Animal Shelter Volunteer Organization said it is completely cleared of dogs after every singe pup found a home. It’s the first time this has happened for the shelter, volunteers said, calling it “a Christmas MIRACLE.”

“For the first time EVER… our shelter is COMPLETELY CLEARED OF DOGS!!,” a post from the volunteer group said in a Facebook post. “Every single pup has found their forever home just in time for the holidays — truly the sweetest gift we could ask for!"

The shelter team thanked all of the people who helped find these dogs a place to home.
