GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Glendale police showed last month that officers do more than catch the bad guys; they help our four-legged friends.
Somebody called 911 on Nov. 21 about a dog that was in a “ruff” situation since the night before.
“There’s a dog that’s stuck in between my apartment complex wall and the other complex wall,” the 911 caller told the dispatcher.
It’s unclear who the dog owner was but the caller was very concerned.
“He’s still in there. I don’t want him to die between the walls, ma’am,” the 911 caller said.
A couple of officers arrived at the complex just after 11 a.m. and realized the pup was very friendly. An officer used a small ladder to assess the situation and saw that it was a tight squeeze to get the dog out.
