BALTIMORE —
The Maryland Department of Health reported rising flu cases as the holiday season approaches, with three deaths so far this year.
According to the Department of Health's dashboard, cases of COVID-19 are currently very low, but flu and RSV cases are increasing.
"I've never had the flu, but I hear it's really bad if you don't get vaccinated. That's why I get vaccinated every year," said Hope Greene, a Maryland resident.
Doctors across the state agree, noting that flu season is ramping up in Maryland and nationwide.
Dr. Hannah Goldberg with Mercy Medical Center said she began seeing many sick patients after Thanksgiving.
