LOS ANGELES — Jim Ward, the voice actor who brought characters from various animated projects to life, has died. He was 66.

Janice, Ward’s wife, told he died Wednesday, Dec. 10, morning from complications from advanced Alzheimer's.

A , previously stated he'd been put into a memory facility where he had "no memory, not from a year ago, a day ago, 10 minutes ago, 2 seconds ago."

Ward voiced characters from popular animated shows like Doug Dimmadome from "The Fairly OddParents," Professor X in the 2009 animated show "Wolverine and the X-Men," Bertrand in "Danny Phantom," and many more.
