KNOXVILLE (WVLT) - This weekend is Wreaths Across America ‘s annual day of honoring service members.
The nationwide organization dropped off the wreaths on Thursday, which will be placed on service members’ headstones to honor their service.
Veterans will have their names read aloud to keep their memory alive for their family and friends.

“My grandfather, my father, my father-in-law, my brother and my best friend, we were all in the service. I make sure we get wreaths for them every year,” Veteran Dave Palmer said.
