CATTARAUGUS, N.Y. — The Village of Cattaraugus is receiving $10.5 million in State grant and interest-free financing to help improve water infrastructure.
According to Gov. Kathy Hochul , over $269 million was recently made available to help communities across the state make improvements to their water and sewer infrastructure. In the Village of Cattaraugus, the funding will be used for new groundwater well, rehabilitating the existing well, drinking water treatment plant upgrades, replacing 28,200 linear feet of water main, and water storage tank upgrades.
"The Village of Cattaraugus is deeply grateful for this significant investment in our community’s future," Village of Cattaraugus Mayor Anthony Nagel said.
