LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. — A Travel Advisory has been issued for all of Cattaraugus County after heavy snow approached the region.
"Heavy snow is making travel difficult and dangerous. Motorists are asked to avoid unnecessary travel until further notice," the county sheriff's office said in a statement Thursday evening.
The county is asking residents to avoid all unnecessary travel until road condition improve.
"A travel advisory does not mean all roads in the affected area are officially closed. However, the public is encouraged to avoid any travel that could wait until the advisory is lifted and conditions have improved," the sheriff's office said.
