If anyone can understand what Philip Rivers is doing, it's Tom Brady .

Brady, the all-time great quarterback, retired after 20 seasons with the New England Patriots following the 2019 season, only to quickly return and play three more seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He added a seventh Super Bowl championship along the way.

After five years away from the NFL, Rivers is back with the Indianapolis Colts . His first possible appearance comes Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Brady's response starts with a joke: "Who retires, then unretires, and ultimately retires again. Who does that? It's ridiculous," he said on " The Herd ."
