QUEBEC — A dozen former Liberal MNAs and cabinet ministers are calling for the resignation of party leader Pablo Rodriguez in a letter making the rounds Wednesday, which will be made public Friday.

Organized by former Liberal MNA Raymond Bernier, a party veteran, the letter to date has been signed by about a dozen inactive, but senior Quebec politicians, including former cabinet ministers Lucie Charlebois, Serge Simard, Jean D’Amour, David Whissell.

Also on the list of those who signed are former Liberal MNA for La Prairie, Richard Merlini, former Jean-Talon MNA Margaret Delisle, and Norbert Morin, the former Liberal MNA for Montmagny-L’Islet, sources said Wednesday evening.
