SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Sioux Falls continues its rapid growth, city leaders say the latest National Community Survey offers more than numbers; it reflects how residents feel about living here.
The city conducts the survey every two years to measure overall livability and community satisfaction.
“They do an independent survey of 3000 households, so it’s a statistically accurate survey, and there are standardized questions on it, and then also the City Council comes up with specialized, customized questions that we think are relevant to what’s going on in Sioux Falls today,” said City Council Vice Chair Jennifer Sigette.
This year’s results highlighted several areas for improvement, including recycling, childcare affordability, and how residents view public safety.
