Two people have been arrested after lying to police officers and making false reports, according to a news release issued by the Killeen Police Department.

A Suzuki motorcycle was involved in a high-speed crash Tuesday afternoon and the driver was sent to the hospital in critical condition after the motorcycle and a Ford Mustang were both speeding down Interstate 14 in Killeen when both attempted to pass a vehicle at high speeds and wound up sideswiping each other.

During the investigation into the incident, KPD officers determined there were four people in the Mustang at the time of the accident.
