Donor contributions have enabled Springfield Memorial Hospital (SMH) to offer critical breast cancer screenings during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Through the Mammogram Mondays program, 1,038 mammograms were performed in October, with 31 of those provided at no cost to eligible women. The initiative was funded by the Springfield Memorial Foundation, which relied on donations from community supporters.

The Mammogram Mondays program targets uninsured and underinsured patients who might otherwise lack access to necessary screenings.
