A paraglider has died after crashing into a mountain in Hawaii.
The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) said the incident occurred in the Makapuu Ridge area in Waimanalo on the island of Oahu on Monday, Dec. 8, according to ABC affiliate KITV and the Honolulu Star-Advertiser .
A person called 911 around 2:18 p.m. local time and stated a paraglider was stuck on a mountain about 150 feet above Kalanianaole Highway, fire officials said, per Hawaii News Now (HNN).
